
This unit covers the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values needed to perform computer operations which include inputting, accessing, producing and transferring data using the appropriate hardware and software.

This Course is a clustering of six common competencies that deals with basic electricity and electronics. These are:
- Perform Mensuration and Calculation (16Hrs)
- Prepare and Interpret Technical Drawing (8Hrs)
- Use Hand Tools (8Hrs)
- Test Electronic Components (8Hrs)
- Terminate and Connect Electrical Wiring and Electronic Circuits (8Hrs)
- Apply Quality Standard (8Hrs)
Its objective is to ensure that all students who have enrolled under the Electrical and Electronics Sector are fully knowledgeable of the basics of Electricity and Electronics, the Foundation of Electronic Product Assembly and Servicing and Computer Sytems Servicing, both under Level II of the PQF.
All Trainees are required to undergo and pass a clustered Institutional Assessment to complete this course and move to the Core Competencies of your chosen enrolled Qualification.
