HOW TO USE THESE ON-LINE COMPETENCY-BASED LEARNING MATERIALS
These on-line competency based learning material are designed to cover the Basic, Common and Core competencies of the qualification Computer Systems Servicing NC II (CSS NCII), a course which comprises the minimum required knowledge, skills and attitudes that a Computer and Network Service Technician must posses.
There are nineteen modules on this on-line Learning Management System (LMS). These are:

This LMS contains training materials and generic activities related to all the competency requirements of CSS NC II.
To complete these modules, you are required to go through a series of learning activities to complete each learning outcome by following and performing the activities at your own pace either at home or at school.
Should you have any questions, inquiries, or clarifications, please do not hesitate to ask for assistance from your facilitator, or his/her training staff through Group Chat, On-line Forum, e-mail or if at school, you can ask them personally.
Remember to:
- Follow the order of prerequisite as follows: Basic, Common and Core Competencies
- Read the information sheets (Learning Contents) Including the suggested references to supplement the information materials that were provided in these online modules, if any, and complete the quizzes, assignments and other required activities before performing any of the tasks, operations and jobs that might follow after each information sheet. These Tasks / Jobs more specifically, for some common and for all Core Competencies are to be performed at school on a scheduled basis, Your Trainer / Facilitator will be the one who will give you your schedule/s.
- Perform the required Tasks, Operations, and Job Sheets, and fill in the required worksheets, if any, until you are confident that your outputs conforms to the Performance Criteria Checklist that follows each sheets.
- Submit your outputs including your worksheets, the Task, operations and job Sheets to your facilitator by uploading it on this site, for evaluation and checking. Your outputs together with the documents that you have submitted will serve as your portfolio during the Institutional Competency Evaluation.
- When you feel confident that you have had sufficient practice and met the minimum requirements of any of the given module, ask your trainer for an institutional evaluation. The results of your assessment will be recorded in your Progress Chart and or Accomplishment Chart.
- Passing the required institutional assessment of every module is needed before you can undergo the National Assessment in Computer Systems Servicing NC II”.
- A Certificate of Achievement shall be awarded to you after satisfactory completing any modules, and a Certificate of Training after undergoing the Mandatory National Assessment.
